BALTIC: Sampling detects major new source of phosphorusSampling carried out as part of the Helsinki Commission's Balthazar project in the river Luga has revealed what is termed a 'potentially significant' source of phosphorus to the Baltic Sea downstream from the town of Kingisepp, in north west Russia, it was revealed recently in a meeting in St Petersburg.
