Payment can be made by credit card (Mastercard/Visa/American Express/Switch/Delta/AMEX), Cheque (made payable to Portland Customer Services Ltd or IWA Publishing if ordering via BookMasters), or Bank Transfer (account details are shown on the invoice).

Proforma invoices are sent out for payment by cheque/bank transfers and the books will be despatched on receipt of payment.

Returning Books
Credit will only be given for returns of products under the following circumstances:

returns have to be pre-authorized; a Returns Material Authorisation (RMA) number will be issued and should be quoted when returning the goods.

only returns within 60 days of the date of invoice will be considered.

  • please return product, securely wrapped, with an explanatory note to Portland Customer Services, including the invoice and RMA number.
  • products to be in good condition (i.e. re-saleable- at the discretion of Portland Customer Services).all packing and wrapping costs to be borne by the sender.
  • please ensure that all items are sent by Recorded post or Special delivery – it is the customer’s responsibility to prove delivery of returns to Portland Customer Services.
  • authorization of returns is strictly at the discretion of Portland Customer Services, and no returns will be accepted where such authorization has not been given.

Discounts 
IWA members are entitled to a discount on IWA Publishing books of up to 25%. Member prices are indicated on the website and in the Publications Catalogue.

To purchase IWA Publishing books at the discounted rate, please supply your membership number with all orders.

Discounts are also available for bulk orders (one title). Please contactIan Morgan, Marketing Manager, to discuss your order.

Book Mailing List 
IWA Publishing offers an email alerting system for new publications, IWA Info Alert. To receive such emails, please subscribe to our mailing list service and interests on the site. You will then be included in the mailing list.

Textbook Inspection Copies
Textbooks published by IWA Publishing are available for lecturers to examine on approval before making a decision whether to purchase the book for their own use or adopt it for course use. The book will be sent to you on 30 days' free approval with an invoice which will be due for payment within 30 days of the date of issue. 

When you receive the book you will have three options available to you: 

Option 1 - If you decide to adopt the book for your course and this results in an order for five or more copies, you may keep the book free of charge. Please return the invoice with course information and the name of the bookshop or department that will be placing the order. 

Option 2 - If the book is not suitable for adoption but you would like to keep it, then simply pay the invoice. 

Option 3 - If you do not want to keep or adopt the book, please return it in good condition with the invoice.
