Blue-Green Systems Launches in Xi'An, China

We are thrilled to have celebrated the initial launch of our latest Open Access journal, Blue-Green Systems at the International Sponge City Conference in Xi'An, China this Sunday, 9 September, 2018. Co-Editor-in-Chief, Ana Deletic (Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research) at the University of New South Wales) announced the launch during her key-note address on 'Delivering Spong City Agenda While Greening of Our Cities'. Later, we celebrated over dinner in true Chinese style!

Blue-Green Systems (BGS) brings together cutting-edge research on sustainable, energy efficient and environmentally responsible water use in cities and their regions, including innovative approaches such as Sponge Cities, Low Impact Development, Nature Based Solutions and Water Sensitive Urban Design.

In Tokyo next week for the IWA World Water Congress? Join us for our next BGS launch event on Wednesday 19 September at 10:00am @ the IWA Pavillion!
