Journal of Water and Climate Change Editor-in-Chief:

Dr. Nagesh Kumar

What makes Journal of Water & Climate Change a stand-out journal?

Climate change has an impact on various different domains but it has a particularly profound effect on water resources and their availability.

JWCC is a unique journal focusing on this interdisciplinary theme. It provides an excellent platform for water resources researchers and climate modelers to interact and complement each other's research.

What sort of impact do you think the journal has in environmental fields?

Climate change is expected to have a severe impact on glaciers, polar ice, sea-level rise, flora & fauna in the marine environment, urban heat island formations, urban hydrology etc. Water-related research in the face of such challenges is more important than ever and JWCC shares crucial insights for global environmental conversations.

What new trends or areas of research are you particularly excited to share in the journal?

There is a nexus between food, water and energy, and they are intrinsically linked and are affected by the change in the climate.

We solicit review articles, thought-provoking discussion articles, and good research articles in these interdisciplinary areas.
